Investigation Imagination by April

This piece was significant in my investigation because it changed my topic specifically to the continuation of life through death rather than an nontraditional view of objects and cultures.  It is also significant because it is very symbolic rather than a realistic representation of my theme.  In this piece the 7 blue paths represent the different paths people take in their life and how they always lead to death (the ending point of all  the paths), but when they get there the path can turn in any direction.  This is symbolic of my belief that life does not end with death.  This is also shown literally in words "I do not believe in death."

I really like this art piece. The merging of lines into a single point is always fascinating to me. Creating a background that is not white is something very compelling and something that you are great at. Blue and orange are complementary colors so it really brings the piece together. This is a strong piece. Good job!

You and your squiggles...I love them. XD. In all seriousness, the background is probably the most fascinating thing in this painting, at least for me.

I adore this piece. It reminds me of a piece done last year with text, but I can't remember who did it. Anyway, it is absolutely legn... wait for it DAIRY! The colors really complement each other.

I love the use of line in this piece. You created a solid focal point by having such definite lines throughout the piece and then blurring them where they come together. I also find it interesting in the text that the words "do you" are slightly darker than the rest. I think it draws attention to and places an emphasis on that particular part of the phrase, which makes it a very thought-provoking piece.

Your art piece really caught my eye! I love the vivid colors that complement each other. I think the colors are what initially caught my eye and made me stop on this blog post! Background is something I struggle with in my artwork and my investigation and I feel that its something that comes so easily for you. Your background is interesting and it complements the elements in front of it. I've noticed that the small lines that I think you draw on with pen are in quite a bit of your art pieces and I like the detail put into it. The small lines are different and add pizzaz to this art piece in particular. The lines draw your eye to the focal point which is distinct in this piece. Keep up the good work!
